As per state government’s official data and several media reports, the recovery rate of COVID-19 cases in Rajasthan has crossed 77% for the first time whereas active cases continue to be below 3000. The number is 2762 as of June 17 evening. When asked about the reasons for the encouraging trend Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Rohit Kumar Singh (IAS:1989) said;  “Aggressive testing leading to early detection of cases combined with quality healthcare has helped Rajasthan achieve one of the highest recovery rates in the country. Mission LiSa has enabled us to identify high risk and vulnerable cases earlier than usual again contributing to higher recovery and comparatively less mortality.”
