Around 12.5 lakh Railway employees and officers will be connected by 4-G smartphone and will be part of CUG (Common User Group). The junior staff monitoring the railway track in the remotest areas will also be part of this CUG group. So, any possibility of railway track dysfunction, which can lead to mis-happening, will get flashed by junior staff to top managers in a flash of a second by the smartphone. This will enhance the security system of the railways across the country. This decision to connect 12.5 lacks railway staff from top-level General Managers to bottom level officers has been taken by the railway board. In order to higher service provider to connect around 12.5 lacks railway employees by CUG smartphones, railway board has issued a tender. The railway board will hire this service provider within a couple of months. This connectivity is bound to enhance the railway security system as the board is trying hard to prevent several mishappenings across the country. This will enhance the security of railway tracks in the dense forest and Naxal infested areas.
