New Delhi (27.12.2021): Radhika Jha (IAS:2002:UD) has been appointed as CEO in state-run Energy Efficiency Services (EESL). EESL is a joint venture between NTPC, Power Grid, Power Finance Corp, and REC. Jha spearheaded the Centre’s Integrated Power Development Scheme as executive director in Power Finance Corp, before moving to the state. It may be underlined that Ramesh Pallakonda, chairman of Rajasthan’s power distribution company, and Harpreet Singh Pruthi, ED at Indian Railways, were also in contention for the post.
