- Anurag Agarwal (IAS: 1990: PB) has been appointed as additional chief secretary (ACS), food processing, jails and elections.
- KAP Sinha (IAS: 1992: PB) has been appointed as additional chief secretary (ACS), revenue and rehabilitation.
- Veerendra Kumar Meena (IAS: 1997: PB), principal secretary, freedom fighters, has been given the additional charge of printing and stationery.
- Alaknanda Dayal (IAS: 2000: PB) has been appointed as the new secretary, medical education, and in addition resident commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
- Chander Gaind (IAS: 2004: PB) has been posted as commissioner, Faridkot division.
- Daljit Singh Mangat (IAS: 2005: PB) has been made commissioner, Ferozepur division.
- Vinay Bublani (IAS: 2008: PB) has been given the additional charge of nodal officer, anti-drug abuse campaign.
