
Chandigarh (09.08.2023): The Punjab government has enacted a
major reshuffle of IAS officers with immediate effect. Names of these officers
are as follows:
- Kumar Rahul (IAS: 2000: PB) has been appointed as Secretary,
Jails.
- Kamal Kishor Yadav (IAS: 2003: PB) has been appointed as
Secretary, School Education with additional charge of CEO, Punjab Bureau of
Investment Promotion.
- Arshdeep Singh Thind (IAS: 2004: PB) has been appointed as
Taxation Commissioner, Punjab.
- Shruti Singh (IAS: 2004: PB) has been appointed as Secretary,
Personnel with additional charge of General Administration and Coordination.
- Ravi Bhagat (IAS: 2006: PB) has been appointed as Special Principal
Secretary to the Chief Minister with additional charge of Secretary, Punjab
Rural Development Board and New and Renewable Energy Sources.
- Sandeep Hans (IAS: 2010: PB) has been appointed as Special
Secretary, Personnel with additional charge CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment
Promotion.
- Girish Dayalan (IAS: 2011: PB) has been appointed as
Managing Director, MARKFED with additional charge of CEO, Punjab State e-Governance
Society and Special Secretary, Governance Reform and Public Grievances.
- Sanyam Aggarwal (IAS: 2012: PB) has been appointed as Joint
Managing Director cum-CEO, Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company.
- Services of Rishi Pal Singh (IAS: 2014: PB) has been placed
at the disposal of Department of Local government for posting as Commissioner,
Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
- Paramvir Singh (IAS: 2015: PB) has been appointed as Deputy
Commissioner, Mansa.
- Palavi (IAS: 2015: PB) has been appointed as Deputy
Commissioner, Malerkotla.
- Services of Rahul (IAS: 2017: PB) has been placed at the
disposal of Local government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation,
Amritsar.
- Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke (IAS: 2018: PB) has been appointed as
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), SAS Nagar.
- Chandrayjoti Singh (IAS: 2020: PB) has been appointed as Sub
Divisional Magistrate, SAS Nagar.
- Ojasvi (IAS: 2020: PB) has been appointed as Joint Secretary,
Vigilance and Coordination.
- Besides these 15 IAS officers, 16 PCS officers
have also been reshuffled.
