Since it was painful to shift to a drab government office building which didn't have the ambiance of HT corporate building, official files on shifting were delayed for six months under the excuse of processing. However, the files were finally done and the NLC moved its office. With the NLC setting an example in 'self-sacrifice', officials expect the Competition Commission of India (CCI), which, too, is housed in HT Building and is paying an equally humongous amount as rent, to shift to a government office complex.
