President of India may be seen as a rubber stamp of the government. But working for its office has a lot of special privileges. Following demonetisation, Rashtrapati Bhavan wrote to the finance ministry, saying it needs Rs 64.5 lakh in cash to pay the salaries of its staff. The finance ministry complied, and the money was disbursed by the bank.
