New Delhi (25.04.2022): The incumbent CMD of Central Coalfields Limited PM Prasad is the lone ranger in his organization as all five posts of Director are lying vacant at present that including; Director (Finance), Director (Personnel) and two posts of Director (Technical). Though, Prasad will have to sail the Board-level affairs as a lone ranger for a while only as PESB has selected and recommended a few names for Board-level positions which may take a few more weeks for ACC approval and appointments. It may be underlined that PESB recommended HN Mishra for Director (Personnel) post yesterday whereas it has already selected/recommended Pawan Kumar Mishra (CFO, Chief Financial Officer, DNH Power Distribution Corporation Limited) for Director (Finance) in January this year and Ram Baboo Prasad (GM, Northern Coalfields Ltd) for the post of Director (Technical) in December last year; both awaiting ACC ratification.
