It has really been a tough task indeed to get posh bungalows vacated from squatters whether from politicians or bureaucrats, however, the NDA government has streamlined it to a large extent in New Delhi. But former DGP, Uttar Pradesh O P Singh (Retd IPS:1983:UP) occupying the official bungalow in Lucknow even after retirement tells the real story about his grip over the state government.

Generally bureaucrats of such high ranks serve and retire gracefully but retired DGP O P Singh seems to be an exception who hanged his boots on January 31, 2020. However his action is inviting harsh criticism from all across including from Twitterattis. He has also been accused of his aristocratic lifestyle and arrogant ways for having a powerful circle.

On Monday, Twitterattis took to the social media saying that despite having properties and homes in Lucknow itself, he is still occupying the official DGP bungalow, as tweeted by a journalist. Few other journalists claimed that besides possessing in Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Nainital and Bahraich. In fact, those tweets appeared to make it an issue of possession Vs position/power.  

His proximity with Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath is known to everyone but is that the criterion for any privileges to anyone, this is what is being questioned in social media even by common social media users.
