pm-to-inaugurate-petrotech-2016-tomorrow-a-glance Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will inaugurate PETROTECH-2016, the 12th edition of the International Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition, on Monday 5th December 2016 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Theme for the conference is "Hydrocarbons to fuel the future: Choices & Challenges." The three-day conference is being organized by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India and coordinated by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. The Petrotech series of conferences and exhibitions is a biennial event which showcases the Indian hydrocarbon industry to the world and also what the world can offer to the Indian hydrocarbon industry. It will showcase the scope of the oil & gas industry: upstream, midstream and downstream, as well as related sectors such as alternative energy, engineering and technology. Since its inception in 1995, it has acquired a high stature in the international energy community over the years, providing a vibrant platform for exchange of ideas, sharing of best practices and the latest developments across various segments of the industry which brings together all stake-holders in the energy sector - ministers, bureaucrats, industry leaders, professionals, academicians, technology licensors and domain experts on a common platform.
