Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) has sanctioned a loan of Rs.4,009 crore to finance TSGENCO's 5X800 MW Yadadri TPP using super-critical technology in Nalgonda district of Telangana. Yadadri Thermal Power Plant will generate approx. 29,784 Million Units of energy to meet the future power requirement of Telangana.
The loan agreement was signed between PFC and TSGENCO officials recently in Hyderabad at a ceremony attended by PFC CMD Rajeev Sharma and TSGENCO CMD D. Prabhakar Rao and other officials.
PFC has a long-standing relationship with Telangana with a cumulative sanction of Rs.28,210 crore and disbursement of Rs.16,156 crore towards various projects in Generation, Transmission and Distribution sector in Telangana.
