In selection interview held on February 23 PESB has selected V Thangapandian (GM, NLC) for the post of Director (Power), Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited. Once the selection is ratified by the ACC Thangapandian will succeed S Rajagopal as Director (Power) who is scheduled to retire on August 31, 2015. In the selection interview as many as 13 candidates had appeared before PESB. They are S A F KHALID, CGM, NLC D RAVINDRAN, CGM, NLC V SHANMUGANATHAN, GM, NLC S MATHIVANAN, GM, NLC R VIKRAMAN, GM, NLC P SELVAKUMAR, GM, NLC M RAJASEKARAN, GM, NLC S THIRUNAVUKKARSU, GM, NLC K CHANDRAN, GM, NLC R MOHAN, GM, NLC K K SHUKLA, GM, SECL/CIL V THANGAPANDIAN, GGM, NTPC KISHOR KUMAR, GM, NHPC Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, a "Navratna" Government of India Enterprise, comes under the administrative control of Ministry of Coal.
