The Public Enterprises Selection Board on Wednesday selected Harbans Lal Arora for the post of Director (Technical), THDC India Limited. Arora currently serves as ED, THDC India Ltd. Altogether seven candidates appeared before PESB for interview namely; Harbans Lal Arora, ED, THDC; Rajeev Kumar Vishnoi, ED, THDC; Ram Mishra, GM, THDC; Ajay Kumar, GM, THDC; Muhar Mani, GM, THDC; Vinay Kumar Badoni, GM, THDC and Naveen Chander Bansal, ED, SJVNL. Subject to requisite clearance and ACC ratification Arora would be appointed to the post of Director (Technical); a post which has been lying vacant. It may be noted THDC India Limited is a Joint Venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The Equity is shared in the ratio of 75:25 between GoI and GoUP. The Company was incorporated in July' 88 to develop, operate & maintain the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other hydro projects. The Company has an authorised share capital of Rs. 4000 cr. THDCIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I and Schedule 'A' CPSE.⁠⁠⁠⁠
