NCT government Transport Secretary Parimal Rai (IAS:1985:UT) will officiate as Home secretary of Delhi government till Sanjeev Nandan Sahai (IAS:1986:UT) returns from his training course some time in November. The post of Delhi government's Home Secretary was once considered a prize post. But there has been no taker for it for the past few weeks, thanks to the continuous friction between the Kejriwal government and Lt Governor Najeeb Jung. Sahai was appointed in July this year following a rare truce between Kejriwal and Jung.
