Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that some extraordinary development last month prompted the authorities to scrap the panel drafted for the post of Executive Director (Security) of Airports Authority of India. The post had fallen vacant following the completion of tenure of Ms. Neera Kumari Rawat (IPS:1992:UP) in July this year.
Reportedly, three names were shortlisted for the post. The were Ajay Kumar Yadav (IPS:1996:HP); Mahali Kanhu Charan (IPS:189:TN); and an MP cadre IPS officer.
