The initiative is in addition to the formal arrangement of meeting the Revenue Secretary with a prior formal appointment.  

The “Open House” allows former as well serving officials to connect with the secretary on each ‘working day’ between 9.15 am to 10 am so that they could take up their service-related issues and grievances (other than requests for transfer & posting) during the said timings.    

It may be underlined that the Cabinet Secretary (ALSO READ) has fixed up the timing for his ‘Open House’ between 10 am to 10.20 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, except on holidays while Revenue Secretary has offered this platform to connect throughout the ‘working day’ between 9.15 am to 10 am without any prior appointment.
