The public-sector head-hunter (PESB) on Monday selected Ujjwal Kanti Bhattacharya (ED, NTPC) for the post of Director (Projects), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC); a post which fell vacant after the retirement of Susanta Roy. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval Bhattacharya may be appointed as Director (Projects), NTPC Limited.
