New Delhi (22.05.2025): The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on May 21, 2025 held a selection interview for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, NTPC Ltd ( NTPC). NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh is retiring on July 31, 2025.The selection board found none of the 12 candidates suitable for the post and advised the administrative ministry/department (Ministry of Power) to choose an appropriate course of further action for selection including the Search-cum-Selection-Committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.
