Amid the rising cases of COVID-19 cases, Niti Aaayog has sealed its office in after an employee tested positive for the Covid-19. Niti Aaayog is following every protocol as per health ministry guidelines. The building has been sealed and sanitization of the building is underway.
Contacts of the person have been asked to go on self-quarantine. The office will be sealed for two-three days as per the prescribed protocol. Niti Aaayog headed by CEO Amitabh Kant is tasked with leading some of the 11 empowered groups formed by the Union government to deal with the pandemic.
On April 22, Civil Aviation headquarters at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan in Jor Bagh was sealed after an employee tested positive for Covid-19. The civil aviation ministry staffer was the first person in a central ministry to have contracted the infection. The office now reopened. 
It may be underlined that recently cases were already detected in few other offices: Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan, ISTM (DOPT) near JNU, Mausam Vibhag, Supreme Court.
