Nasir Kamal (IPS:1986:BSF), presently working as Special DG, BSF, has been appointed as Director, National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (NICFS) by temporarily upgrading the ADG level post to DG level. Kamal replaces S Javeed Ahmed (IAS:1984:UP) as DG, NICFS, who repatriated to cadre state (Uttar Pradesh).
