New Delhi (05.07.2021): Indianmandarins has reliably learned that Nitin R Gokaran (IAS:1990:UP) may be appointed as the next Chairman of NHAI vice Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (lAS:1988:UD) who was on Monday repatriated to cadre state of Uttarakhand. Reportedly, Gokaran may take over from SS Sandhu over a week before the Monsoon Session of the Parliament starts on 19.07.2021. Presently, Gokaran is working in the cadre state of Uttar Pradesh as Principal Secretary, PWD. Gokaran’s appointment assumes significance in the backdrop of coming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh next year.
