New Delhi (04.08.2025): Based on the recommendation of Search-cum-selection Committee, the Govt of India appointed two judicial members and four expert members in the National Green Tribunal (NGT) for a period of four years or till attaining the age of 67 years. 
The list of Judicial and Expert Members goes as follows:-
JUDICIAL MEMBER:
  1. Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain, presently serving as Member in National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). He is a former Judge of Delhi High Court. 
  2. Justice Umesh Chandra Sharma, presently serving as Judicial Member, Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT, Regional Branch, Chandigarh). He also served as Judge of Allahabad High Court
EXPERT MEMBER:-
  1. Sudhir Kumar Chaturvedi (Retd IFoS: 1986: GJ) who retired in December 2024 as Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force (PCCF & HoFF), Government of Gujarat
  2. Ishwar Singh (Retd IFoS: 1988: AGMUT) who retired in May 2022 as Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) Government of NCT of Delhi.
  3. Dr Sujit Kumar Bajpayee, Member CAQM and former Joint Secretary (Lateral Entry) in the Ministry of Environment & Forest (MoEFCC). 
  4. Prashant Gargava who retired as Director (Scientist 'F'- Control of Pollution), National Clean Air Programme in MoEFCC. He also served as Member-Secretary, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
