A Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Ministry of Tourism, NBCC, and Government of Jammu and Kashmir for implementation of Integrated Development of Tourist facilities at Gulmarg, Baramulla, Kupwara, and Leh.
Signed in presence of the then Vinod Zutshi, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, major components of work, valuing approx Rs 97 Crore, include Tourist Facilitation Centre, landscaping, and beautification of surroundings, cafeteria, log huts, rain shelters, walking trail/pathways, landscaping, solar lighting and solid waste management.
