New Delhi (09.07.2023): When Tenure of Vivek Kumar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman in the Department of Expenditure, was curtailed w.e.f. 17.07.2023, it surprised everyone as he was appointed in January 2022 for a four-year tenure. His exit midway is noticed all across. Kumar, a private person, has been in the helm of affairs but his sudden premature exit is taken as a surprise in the bureaucratic and corporate parlance. Wild guess would get answered with the passage of time only.
