New Delhi (01.01.2024): Manobendra Ghoshal (IRSME: 1985) assumed charge as the CMD of Metal Scrap Trade Corporation Limited (MSTC Ltd) today. He replaces Surinder Kumar Gupta who retired on 31.12.2023. Prior to this Ghoshal worked as Chief Strategy Officer in RITES and as a Nominee Director on the Board of SRBWIPL, a JV of SAIL and RITES for manufacture of Wagons.The public-sector headhunter (PESB) selected him for the coveted post on 25.09.2023 and ACC headed, by PM, cleared his appointment on 13.12.2023 as the new CMD of MSTC Ltd; a Mini Ratna Category-I PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel (GoI).
