The 1994 batch Indian Foreign Service officer Ms Vani S Rao has been appointed with the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) as Joint Secretary vice Iqbal Singh Bains (IAS:1985:MP). Presently she is working with Ministry of External Affairs and will serve with MOIA till December 2017.
