Ms Devpreet Singh is new CBI spokesperson; replaces Ms Kanchan Prasad

A 1992-batch Indian Information Service officer has been appointed as new CBI Spokesperson w.e.f. September 09 up to September 2016 or till further order. She will take over from Ms Kanchand Prasad in the second week of September. Presently Ms Devpreet is on study leave for her PhD programme. Prior to this she served as Director, News (News Services Division) All India Radio.
Once Ms Prasad is relieved from CBI she will take up her previous assignment with Doordarshan as Director (News).
