Ms Aruna Sunderrajan (IAS:1982:KL) has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Steel. Presently she is serving Administrator (Secretary Equivalent), Universal Service Obligation, Department of Telecommunications vice Rakesh Singh (Rtd IAS:1978:PB) who retired on September 30, 2015.
After Rakesh Singh's superannuation the additional charge of Secretary, Steel was given to Anup K Pujari (IAS:1980:KN), Secretary, MSME.
