Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that K K Mittal (IAS, 1983: AM) is all set to repatriate to his parent cadre, Assam. Currently, he is serving in the Ministry of Culture as Additional Secretary. Reportedly, he will handover his current charge on August 1 before proceeding to Assam as Additional Chief Secretary. Mittal was among the few officers who were hoping to find their names on the list of secretary empanelment, issued on July 18.
