Jaideep Mazumdar (IFS:1989), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Philippines, has been given the additional charge of functioning as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Palau, with residence in Manila (Philippines). He is expected to take up his new assignment shortly. Mazumdar was named Ambassador of India to the Philippines on May 26 this year. Till then, he served as a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
