New Delhi (17.06.2021): The NaMo administration on Thursday effected a major bureaucratic rejig at the level of Secretary as follows:

• Manoj Kumar Panda (lAS:1986:UT) appointed as Chairman, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Presently he is posted in the cadre as Adviser to the Administrator of UT (Chandigarh).
• B Anand (lAS:1987:TN) appointed as Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence upon superannuation Ravi Kant (lAS:1984:BH) on 30.06.2021. Presently, Anand is Secretary, National Commission for Minorities.
• Ms Renuka Kumar (lAS:1987:UP), presently in the cadre, appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs upon the superannuation of Pramod Kumar Das (lAS:1986:MP) on 30.06.2021.
• S K Dev Verman (lAS:1988:MN) was appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Minorities in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post vice B Anand. Presently, he is Special Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs.
• Indevar Pandey (lAS:1988:WB) was appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development upon the superannuation of Ram Mohan Mishra (lAS:1987:AM) on 30.06.2021. Presently, Pandey is working as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare.
• Sanjay Kumar Singh (lAS:1987:MP) appointed as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare vice Indevar Pandey. Presently, he is working as Special Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
