New Delhi (02.05.2022): The NaMo administration on Monday effected a major reshuffle of Union Secretaries. The list goes as follows:

  1. Union Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs Gyanesh Kumar (IAS:1988:KL) was appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation vice Devendra Kumar Singh.
  2. Ms S Radha Chauhan (IAS:1988:UP), presently in the cadre, was appointed as Secretary, DOPT vice PK Tripathi.
  3. Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS:1987:UT) was appointed as Secretary (Coordination) in Cabinet Secretariat. Presently, he is working as Secretary DOPT under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
  4. SKG Rahate (IAS:1990:JH) was appointed as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice Vice Barun Dutta. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power.
  5. Devendra Kumar Singh (IAS:1989:KL) was appointed as Secretary-General, National Human Rights Commission in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Presently, he is Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
  6. Ms Neel Kamal Darbari (IAS:1987:RJ) was appointed as Chairperson, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Presently, she is Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
  7. Alkesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:1990:KL) was appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. Presently, he is Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
  8. Sanjay Kumar (IAS:1990:BH), presently in the Cadre, was appointed as Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs.
  9. Vijoy Kumar Singh (IAS:1990:PB), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, was elevated (In-situ) as Special Secretary.
  10. Atul Kumar Tiwari (IAS:1990:KN), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, was elevated (In-situ) as Special Secretary.
  11. Ms Archana Agrawal (IAS:1990:UP), Member Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, was elevated (In-situ) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
  12. Ganji Kamala V Rao (IAS:1990:KL), MD, ITDC, was elevated (in-situ) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India. Rao will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Director-General, Tourism.
  13. K Moses Chalai (IAS:1990:MN), Secretary, North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region was elevated (in-situ) in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
  14. Arun Baroka (IAS:1990:UT) was appointed as Special Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, DWS.
  15. Ms Alka Upadhyaya (IAS:1990:MP), Chairperson, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was elevated in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by restoring the NHAI post to Secretary level.
