In a major bureaucratic rejig in Jharkhand many senior IAS officers were reshuffled including D K Tiwari (IAS:1986) who served in Delhi as Principal Resident Commissioner of Govt of Jharkhand. Subsequent to his promotion as Additional Chief Secretary Tiwari was appointed as ACS, Water Resources. Rahul Sharma (IAS:1998) laterally appointed as Secretary Transport and Production. Previously he served as Secretary, Dept of Tourism. Manish Ranjan (IAS:2002) replaced Sharma as Secretary, Tourism with additional charge of Director, Census, Government of Jharkhand. Previously Ranjan was DC, Khunti. Sunil Kumar (IAS:1999) was transferred as Secretary, PWD with additional charge of MD, Building Construction Corporation. Earlier he was MD Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation. In addition the Govt transferred many district commissioners. Accordingly; Bokaro DC Rai Mahimapat Ray (IAS:2011) was made Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi. Sandeep Singh (IAS:2012), DC Chatra, was transferred as DC, Sahebganj District. Bhuvnesh Prasad Singh (IAS:2012) was transferred from Godda as DC Kodarma. Aditya Kumar Anand (IAS:2013) was appointed as DC Jamtada District. Previously he was DDC, Koderma. Manjunath Bhajantri (IAS:2011), DC Simdega, was appointed as Director, Handicraft with MD, Jharcraft whereas Bhorsingh Yadav (IAS:2014), Jamtara DC, was appointed Production Commissioner.
