Maharashtra: Govt enacts a major reshuffle

Mumbai (13.10.2022): The Maharashtra government has transferred over a dozen IAS officers with immediate effect. These officers included:

Virendra Singh (IAS: 2006: MH) has been posted as Managing Director of Maha IT Corporation in Mumbai.
Shushil Chavan (IAS: 2007: MH) has been posted as Development Commissioner (Un-organised Labour) and transferred to Mumbai.
Ajay Gulhane (IAS: 2010: MH) has been appointed as Additional Municipal Commissioner of Nagpur.
Deepak Kumar Meena (IAS: 2013: MH) has been named as Additional Tribal Commissioner of Thane.
Vinay Gowda (IAS: 2013: MH) will be the new Collector of Chandrapur.
R K Gawade has been posted as Additional Chief Electoral Officer and moved to Mumbai.
Manik Gursal (IAS: 2009: MH) has been posted as Additional Commissioner (Industries).
Shivraj Shrikant Patil (IAS: 2011: MH) will take over as MD of Mahanand, a state-run body, in Mumbai,
Astik Kumar Pandey (IAS: 2011: MH) has been appointed as the new Collector of Aurangabad district.
Deepak Singla (IAS: 2012: MH) has been posted as Joint Commissioner MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority).
S C Patil has been posted as Joint Secretary, Deputy Chief Minister's Office in Mantralaya (state secretariat) in Mumbai.
R D Nivatkar (IAS: 2010: MH), Collector of Mumbai, has been given additional charge of Commissioner of Medical Education.
R S Chavan has been posted as Joint Secretary, Revenue Stamps and Forest Department at Mantralaya
