Gujarat: Govt enacts a major reshuffle of IAS officers

Gandhinagar (13.10. 2022): The Gujarat government has enacted a major reshuffle of IAS officers with immediate effect. The officers included:

M Thennarsan (IAS: 2000: GJ) has been appointed as the new Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner.
Sandip Sagale (IAS: 2007: GJ) will become the new Commissioner of the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.
R A Merja (IAS: 2012: GJ) has been appointed as the district collector of Bhavnagar.
Dhavalkumar Patel (IAS: 2008: GJ) has been appointed as Ahmedabad district collector.
Rahul Gupta, industries commissioner, has been given additional charge of GIDC.
BK Pandya (IAS: 2008: GJ) has been transferred and appointed as district collector of Mahisagar.
BR Dave has been appointed as the new district collector of Tapi.
DK Praveena (IAS: 2008: GJ) has been appointed as the new collector of Gandhinagar.
Dilip Rana (IAS: 2007: GJ), director of tribal development, will be the new Kutch collector.
DS Gadhvi (IAS: 2008: GJ) has been appointed as the district collector of Anand.
GT Pandya, Director of Technical Education, has been appointed as the collector of Morbi.
Yogesh Chaudhary (IAS: 2016: GJ) has been appointed as the managing director of the state electricity distribution company, Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL).
Jasmine Hasrat (IAS: 2018: GJ) is the new MD of Gujarat State Energy Generation Ltd, Surat.
