As reported first by Indianmandarins June 28 (Weblink below), Ashish Madhaorao More (IAS:2005:UT) was appointed as PS to Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Friday. Having worked without an IAS officer as his private secretary for several months now, Prabhu was said to be in favor of appointing Madhaorao. The post of the Railway Minister's private secretary has been lying vacant after Dr. Sanjeev Kumar left a few months ago. A Maharashtrian like Prabhu, More was among the IAS officers posted with Delhi government who were shuffled out by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
