As Indianmandarins had anticipated in its report last week, Arvind Jadhav (IAS:1978:KN), the outgoing Chief Secretary to the Govt of Karnataka, has been given three months extension beyond June 30, 2016. The state govt issued the orders to this effect late evening today.
Indianmandarins had said last week that the DoPT received the extension proposal from K'taka Govt which might be considered shortly.
Jadhav will serve as Chief Secretary to the Govt of Karnataka up to September 30, 2016.
