V S Kaumudi (IPS:1986:AP), currently with NIA, has been appointed ADG, BPR&D whereas Rakesh Kumar Mishra (IPS:1986:BH), currently with CISF, appointed as ADG, ITBP. In addition, Uttarakhand DGP M A Ganapthy (IPS:1986:UD) has been appointed as ADG, CISF. Further, after a series of premature repatriation of many senior IAS officers since March this year, the NaMo administration is reported to have repatriated senior IPS officers who could not get empanelled as DG in Govt of India. It is also believed that with little opportunity in Govt of India these officers might have requested for their repatriation. Among those who will be back to the cadre states are Parvez Hayat (IPS:1984:JH) and Ramesh P Singh (IPS:1984:OR), currently serving as ADG, BPR&D, and ADG, BSF, respectively. It may be mentioned that these officers would avail DG rank posts & benefits in their respective cadre states.
