The NaMo administration on Friday announced Sitanshu Kar as the successor of Frank Noronha (IIS:1982), the outgoing Press Information Bureau (PIB) Chief. Kar's name was announced almost forty days ahead of Noronha's retirement. ensure familiarisation and smooth transition Kar has been placed in PIB.
Senior Indian Information Service (IIS:1983) officer Sitanshu Kar will take charge as PIB head on May 01 following the superannuation of Noronha on April 30.
