The relieving of A Sai Manohar (IPS:1995:MP) from the additional charge of Chandigarh Zone had necessitated Rao's posting from Chennai to Chandigarh Zone. Further Praveen Sinha (IPS:1988:GJ) replaced Nageshwar Rao as CBI Jt Director in Chennai.
