As Indianmandarins had anticipated in its report on January 05 Rajiv Gauba (IAS:1982:JH), has been appointed as new Chief Secretary to the Government of Jharkhand. Last year Gauba was laterally shifted from Department of Electronics & IT to MHA where he is currently serving as Additional Secretary.
Gauba will shortly take over from the incumbent CS, Sajal Chakraborty (IAS:1980:JH) who was appointed CS by the previous JMM-led UPA government.
Chakraborty has been given new assignment as ACS, Department of Civil Aviation.
