New Delhi (30.01.2024): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet appointed Jai Prakash Dwivedi for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) till the date of his superannuation i.e. 31.01.2026. Currently, he is working as Director (Technical), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL). The PESB had selected and recommended his name for the post on November 3, 2023.He will take over from the incumbent CMD Manoj Kumar who is retiring on January 31, 2024.
