IPS Arvinda Kumar likely to be appointed advisor J&K LG

Srinagar (15.11.2021): The post of adviser to Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha is likely to be filled up with the appointment of Arvinda Kumar (IPS: 1984: Assam-Meghalaya) to the post. Kumar is at present posted as Director Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs. Reportedly Delhi police commissioner Rakesh Asthana (IPS: 1984: Gujarat) will replace Kumar as IB Director.
