The Institute of Leadership Development (ILD), set up by IFCI, will be converted into a Skills University.
A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) to this effect was signed on January 19 at Jaipur between the Rajasthan government and ILD and IFCI during the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit.
On behalf of the state government, Pawan Kumar Goyal, Principal Secretary, Higher and Technical Education and Gaurav Goyal, Commissioner of the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship who is also the Managing Director of RSLDC, signed the MoU.
On behalf of ILD and IFCI, D K Jain, Director, and Deepak Mishra, General Manager, signed the MoU.
Present on the occasion were Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Pratap Rudy and CEO and MD of IFCI Malay Mukherjee. The summit was attended, among others, by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, State Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
