26607New Delhi (21.10.2023): Hemant Kumar (IAS: 2013: AGMUT) has
been suspended on October 20 after being transferred to Andaman and Nicobar on
October 19, 2023. The IAS officer is accused of approving disproportionate compensation
for the land acquisition. The reason for
his suspension was given by the Union Home Ministry that his case has been recommended
for CBI investigation.
