I.N.D.I.A may firm up in WB too; Cong may get five seats

Kolkata (24.02.2024): Under pressure on Sandeshkhali incidence, ruling TMC in West Bengal is likely to agree to give five seats to the Congress in the state which was not ready to give more than two seats resulting Mamata Banerjee unilaterally announcing to go it alone in the state. Now, the Congress is solidly behind the TMC against the BJP in the state letting it get some concession from the ruling party of the West Bengal. Sources said that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, the most bitter critique of WB CM, has been prevailed upon by Rahul Gandhi not to speak against her. The TMC has agreed to give the Congress three such seats where the BJP has sitting MPs.
