New Delhi (18.06.2022): Amid protest across the country over the newly launched scheme of Agniveer of the government for short term recruitment in the armed forces, Union Home Ministry has decided to give 10 per cent reservation in the CAPFs and Assam Rifles. HMO office tweeted that three years age relaxation beyond the prescribed upper age limit to Agniveers for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles. Further, for the first batch of Agniveer the new age relaxation will be for 5 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit.
