Hem Kumar Pande (IAS:1982:WB) appointed as Secretary, Department of Official Languages under Ministry of Home Affairs.
Currently he is posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. In his new stint he replaces Anoop Kumar Srivastava (IAS:1980:AM) who held the additional charge after Girish Shankar (IAS:1982:BH) took over as Secretary Dept of Heavy Industry on March 01, 2016.
