G Gurucharan (IAS:1982:KN) has been appointed as Secretary, Performance Management, Cabinet Secretariat. He replaces Ms Aradhna Johri (IAS:1980:UP) currently holding the additional charge.
The post of Secretary (PM) fell vacant on February 29 after Ramesh Abhishek took over as Secretary, Dept of Industrial Policy & Promotion vice Amitabh Kant.
Gurucharan's brief stint as Secretary will come to end on December 31, 2016.
