Set to mark the PMO as first Chief of Cyber-security, newly carved out wing under PMO, Gulshan Rai is all set to take charge as Special Secretary, Cyber Security. Assessing the hard-pressed need to tackle the growing e-threats and challenges of cyber security a new wing under PMO has been carved out.
Rai, a senior scientist, has been serving with the Department of Electronics & IT since 1998 and is presently heading the Computer Emergency Response Team at Dept of C&IT. He has also been playing crucial role in evolving the legal framework to address issues arising out of cyberspace.
